SAP NetWeaver Business Client (NWBC)

It’s a new SAP user interface (UI), presenting end users with a seamless integration of classic SAP GUI-based transactions and newly developed applications based on Web Dynpro ABAP.

SAP Fiori launchpad is an SAPUI5-based.

Application that acts like an application container (called a shell)
and is used to host multiple SAP Fiori apps.
(e.g., SAPUI5 components, Web Dynpro ABAP components, SAP GUI for HTML for running SAP GUI transactions,
web client UIs, and arbitrary URLs).

Difference:

SAP Fiori launchpad (FLP):
A modern, role-based user interface that provides users with a personalized view of the master data they need to manage.

SAP NetWeaver Business Client (NWBC):
A traditional web-based user interface that provides users with access to all SAP MDG functionality.

Performance

FLP — Generally faster than NWBC
NWBC — Generally slower than FLP

key differences between FLP and NWBC:

FLP is designed for mobile devices, while NWBC is not.
FLP is integrated with SAP Fiori apps, while NWBC is not.
